Exalted Ruler’s Message
Many thanks to all the volunteers who stepped up
and made our New Years celebration one to be remem-
bered. We had great food , fabulous entertainment and
a good time was had by all. On February 14th we will
have a Valentines Day party in the dining room. Tickets
are on sale and are limited to 80 people. On February
28th we will be holding our annual 10K fundraiser for
the Elks National Foundation. Please come out and sup-
port this very important event. The fund raising also
continues through March 31st for the Harry Anna Trust
Fund. This fund is the major source of revenue for our
two major Florida State Elks projects. If we grow the
fund we will also grow the Florida Elks Youth Camp and
the Children's Therapy Services program. The long term
goal for the Children's Therapy Services program is 50
vans. We currently have 23 vans so we have some work
to do to reach that goal.
After every lodge meeting we will have the Pie in
the Eye challenge. Any lodge member can put a Pie in
the Eye of the Exalted Ruler for a mere $10.00 donation.
Keep those pies coming. Our House Committee has been
meeting with some commercial plumbing contractors to
assess our bathroom plumbing problems. It has been
determined that the bathrooms next to the kitchen may
have to be redone. Please be patient while we work
through the process of addressing the situation.
Exalted Ruler Randy Stay

charge to the lodge. If you haven't had one of his pulled pork
sandwiches you are missing out as they are delicious. Robbie

Eland bulletin – February 2015
I want to start with a big THANK YOU to all of the members who so
generously donated items to our annual Garage Sale Fundraiser. You
would think it’s hard to fill a 4,200 square foot room with items to sell,
but we made it seem easy! We raised approximately $1,900, and the
items that were left over were donated to AmVets, so that makes it a win
-win-win for everyone! I also want to thank the Eland and Elk mem-
bers who worked so hard collecting, storing, unloading, sorting, pricing,
selling, and packing it all back up again!
The Past Exalted Ruler’s Recognition Dinner will be on Saturday
February 21st. Tickets are $12 each and available on Monday nights at
Pasta/Trivia and Saturday afternoons at the Tiki bar. You can also call
me to reserve tickets at 825-0710. We will be serving pizza, wings and
sub sandwiches. This event is open to all members and we hope that
you join us as we honor all of our Past Exalted Rulers for their service to
Elkdom.
The Nominating Committee for the 2015/2016 Officers has been
formed, with Chairperson Janet Masters. Anyone interested in holding
an officer spot in the Eland Club for 2015/2016 can contact Janet
directly.
Our February meeting is on Wednesday February 4th at 7:30 pm. Our
March meeting will be Wednesday March 4th at 7:30 pm (always on the
first Wednesday of the month).
Until next time,

FEYC Summer Camp
Thanks to all Brothers and Sisters for your donations to the Flori-
da Elks Youth Camp with your renewal membership. It is never to
late to donate money for the camp. Please continue with your do-
nations of games, sports items and other things that are appropri-
ate, for the 9-13 year old children who attend our Florida Elks
Youth Camp. They have requested that we not send clothing, as
they wish to purchase new clothing items for the less fortunate
campers. We continue to need donations, particularly SPORTS
equipment that can be used at the camp. Keep them coming!!
If you have any questions about the camp, trip or donations, please
feel free to call me at any time: Irv Stockdale

Kitchen Menu Expands
With a variety of tasty new menu offerings, Chef Dan Catuto has won
the hearts (and stomachs) of the St. Augustine Elks Lodge. His well-
rounded professional cooking experience has led to a number of ex-
panded nightly dinner menus as well as outstanding meals for Lodge
special events. Dan’s cheerful, “can-do” attitude is refreshing and has
earned him respect and appreciation from Lodge staff and his custom-
ers. If you haven’t been to the Lodge for a while, stop by and enjoy
some great food and fellowship. See this month’s calendar for menu
and entertainment highlights.
