Sir, With reference to your online Appeal dated 07.06.2017 under RTI Act 2005, the following information is furnished with regard to the queries made in your online RTI application dated 05.06.2017:- i. The Commission cannot make any addition or removal of documents in or from the dossiers of selected candidate after nominating the selected candidates as the dossiers are forwarded to the user departments after declaration of final result. However, the Commission requests the user departments while forwarding the dossiers of selected candidates to check the particulars/documents placed in the dossiers of the candidates before issuing the offer of appointment. ii. As stated in reply to para no. I above, the Commission does not possess the dossiers of finally selected candidates after nomination. Hence the question of making any alteration in the dossiers does not arise. iii. The candidates are allowed to submit updated documents to be linked with the dossier after their respective date of document verification only if an undertaking in this regard is obtained from them by the Commission during document verification. 2. As regards the information sought by you in your appeal dated 07.06.2017, the following is furnished:- a) The Commission has dispensed with the procedure of nomination. The verification of the particulars of the candidates is done at the time of their online data verification and the dossiers of the selected candidates are forwarded to the indenting departments. The copy of relevant page of ‘Handbook of Procedures’ of the Commission containing the guidelines to be followed is enclosed herewith. The Commission cannot make any addition or removal of documents in or from the dossiers of selected candidate after nominating the selected candidates as the dossiers are forwarded to the user departments after declaration of final result. b) The candidates are allowed to submit updated/corrected documents to be linked with the dossier after their respective date of document verification only if an undertaking in this regard is obtained from them by the Commission during document verification. c) The eligibility of the candidates are determined by the Commission on the basis of the documents submitted by them at the time of document verification with regard to the notice of examination. However, if it is brought to the Notice of the Commission at any stage that one or more documents available in the dossier are not complete or have shortcomings, the Commission may review the candidature of the concerned candidate accordingly which may result in cancellation of the candidature also. 3.
