Celebration of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas
National Unity Day was introduced by the Government of India to pay tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel – an
Indian politician who played a pivotal role in India's freedom struggle and then during the integration of the
country.
As an endeavor to solidify the bond of oneness and unification, BBPS Noida geared up to mark the 144th birth
anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel as the “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” (National unity Day) on 31st October.
The school in association with DIOS, organized the first edition of “Run for Unity” along with neighboring
schools including Cambridge , Somerville and DPS Noida to support the cause of promoting unity and infuse in
young generation with values.
A TRIBUTE TO “LOH PURUSH”
PLEDGE FOR UNITY, INTEGRITY AND SECURITY
The event was inaugurated by Mr. B.N Singh (District Magistrate,
Gautam Budh Nagar) and hoisting of flag by the school Principal Ms.
Asha Prabhakar. Celebration of this occasion makes us realize that
how a national integrity helps in defeating the actual and potential
threats for unity, integrity and security of the nation.
To spread this message, the faculty, staff and student of BBPS Noida
were administered a collaborative “Pledge” to reinforce the
dedication to preserve and strengthen the unity, integrity & security of
the nation, beyond diversities each one may project.
Students also participated in a variety of cultural activities including the making of banners and posters in order to
spread the awareness and importance of “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas”.
“RUN FOR UNITY”- ONE GOD – EK BHARAT
The event was followed by the “Run for Unity” headed by 100 students which started from BBPS Noida to Noida
stadium, covering a distance of 5kms and reaching the destination with a smile on their faces.
