This manuscript entitled, “ Directory of Mines and Quarries” is the 28th publication of the annual series of CY 2015.
It serves as reference to all data-users and would be of help to mining investors who need data referrals on the different operating mines and mining applications in the Cordillera Administrative Region. This information material is under the Mineral Economics Unit, Mine Management Division, MGB-CAR.
Contained in this publication are pertinent data on valid and existing permittees/licenses of metallic and non-metallic minerals during CY 2015. Large Scale mines, small-scale mining
permits and sand and gravel (and other construction materials) permits (includes industrial, commercial and special) are disaggregated by province.
Information contained in this Directory are based on the monthly/quarterly production and sales reports submitted to this Office by the existing mining/quarry companies, permittees, licenses, leases as of December 2015. Other collated data have been sourced from both the
Local Government Units, Mineral Economics Unit, Mining Rights Licensing Section, Mineral Land Survey Section, MGB-CAR and from field verification conducted by personnel of this Office.
