BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
This is a pilot study of DepEd Calamba City specifically at San Ramon Elementary School. It is one of the biggest elementary schools in the Division headed by a Principal 2 with around 60 teachers and 1800 pupils.

Methods
The participants answered the survey questionnaire. The tool consisted of two parts. The first part includes the profile of the respondents in terms of age, sex, and grade level.

Methods
The second part includes the school related variables such as schools rules on water conservation, energy conservation, eco-waste management with two subparts: environmental awareness and the environmental involvement. Data were treated in depth through percentage, mean, and Pearson r using SPSS.

Findings
The findings reveal that most of the pupil-respondents were female and they are evenly distributed per grade level from kinder to grade 6.

I remind the other pupils not to leave the faucet on (Pinaaalalahanan ko ang ibang mga mag-aaral na huwag iwanang nakabukas ang gripo matapos gamitin.) I turn off the light during lunch break.(Pinapatay ko ang ilaw tuwing tanghali)
I make flower vase and other materials out of scratch paper and used magazines. (Gumagawa ako ng mga florera at iba pang mga bagay mula sa mha nagamit ng papel at magasin.) I pick up any garbage scattered inside the school premises. ( Pinupulot ko ang mga basurang nakakalat sa loob ng paaralan.

This study identified ‘high’ level of awareness and involvement of pupils in water and electrical conservation and eco-waste management. Homogeneity of responses is evident. Sex appears to have significant relationship on the pupils’ waste management involvement.
