WHAT IS RESEARCH?
Albert Sent- Gyorgy, Nobel Prize laureate, 1937, said that
“Research is four things: brains with which to think, eyes with which to see, machines with which to measure, and money.”
DEFINITION OF RESEARCH
The word research is composed of two syllables, re and search. Re is a prefix meaning again, anew, over againSearch is a verb meaning to examine closely and
carefully, to test and try, or to probe.
“Research is a systematic process, utilizing the scientific method for generating new knowledge that can be used to solve a problem or to improve the existing status of a system”.
WHAT IS RESEARCH?
Research is the mother of new knowledge.

SUMMER RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP: INDIAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCE, BANGALORE AND INDIAN NATIONAL SCIENCE ACADEMY, INDIA.
The students shall be placed under an able guide across any reputed centre across the country for a period of two months.Website www.ias.ac.in
