Overview: The average age of the reader is 29, suggesting that ‘Q’ is aimed at young professionals, and a more mature audience then ‘We Love Pop’ with a larger disposable income. The USP is the quality of the magazine; the images and paper are quite high quality. This is reflected in the price and frequency of the publication, £3.50 being more then some other music magazines on the market and a new issue is only released monthly, which makes the magazine seem more exclusive. The genre is mainly rock bands and artists such as Kings Of Leon, with some cross over into the chart music genre; with the majority of the readership being male.
