1(The(Directive(2011/36/EU(on(combating(and(preventing(human(trafficking(establishes(minimum(rules(at(the(EU(level(concerning(the(definition(of(criminal(offences(and(sanctions(in(the(area(of(trafficking(of(human(beings.(2(The(Schengen(area(represents(a(territory(where(the(free(movement(of(persons(is(guaranteed.(The(signatories(of(the(agreement(have(abolished(all(internal(borders.
