Some Assembly Required is a vision for a compo-nent based urban landscape that develops in tan-dem with the needs of its users. It does this through the principles of aggregation, reconfiguration, anddeconstructability. As a system of aggregated com-ponents, this project can be deployed around mul-tiple sites across England. If there is a decline of use in the system, unused components can begin to be deconstructed and towed along the Thames and the canal systems to other such sites, allowing the system to be deployed where needed, allowing for a variety of potential outcomes across different aquatic environments.

BBQ + Bar Patio Renovation Miami, FL

This patio renovation project for a family in Miami, FL. I began by working with the clients to design their ideal patio, afterwards working with a contractor to get the project built. I learned to construct with many new materials including concrete and granite, at a scale much larger than is explored at architectureschool.Thisisaproductofmyfirstventureintodesigningonmyown, andhavesincecompleted four other projects including outdoor and indoor renovations

    design + build

This was a design-build project done with a studio led by architect William Haskas and seven other architecture students from various universities. This structure is a warming station 20 minutes into the forest, where hikers can step in to warm up during the frigid winter months. It was designed in modules so that it can be hiked from the studio to the site. The silver mylar is used to direct views to the surrounding areas as hikers approach the land station.
