Revamp at the QE II Cruise Terminal

ADELTE installed its 5th advanced passenger access system in Southampton, the busiest cruise port in UK. Since May this new HYDRA

model is operating successfully at the revamped QE II Cruise Terminal. The SPBB includes all the latest safety provisions and technologies

and allows ABP Southampton to service a larger range of cruise vessels.

NCL contracted ADELTE to deliver passenger access technology capable to serve the Norwegian Bliss and other NCL ships in Seattle.

Enhancing Caspian Sea ferry turnarounds

Turkmenbashi International Port is a gateway linking various cities on the

world’s biggest lake. The port authority and Gap Insaat, the construction

company, have relied on ADELTE to modernize their facilities with advanced

Passenger Boarding Bridges for their regular ferry lines.

Two tailor-made HYDRAs are being designed for this project. The

dimensions of the cabins will be increased in order to speed-up embarking

and disembarking operations while ensuring superior passenger experience.

Mediterranean connection

The Entreprise Portuaire de Bejaïa is building modern

infrastructures for its growing ferry activity. The new ferry

terminal, currently under construction, should be operating

soon providing travelers with high quality services according to

international standards. ADELTE designed two KRONUS

boarding bridges for Bejaïa’s new facilities and ferries, mainly

going to France and Spain. These will be the 1st high technology

boarding solutions ever installed in the country.

BEJAÏA - ALGERIA

The perfect blend

Ports Normands Associés recently awarded ADELTE a

contract to design, manufacture and install an innovative

boarding system that perfectly integrates with

Cherbourg’s protected architectural passenger terminal,

the well known Gare Maritime Transatlantique.

For this project ADELTE designed a very unique Seaport

Passenger Boarding Bridge. Based on a SEDNA model,

the new SPBB will replace its predecessor, also classified

as a historical monument. Once installed ADELTE’s

solution will improve operability, flexibility and guarantee

that all cruise vessels, including mega cruise vessels will

be welcomed in the best conditions.

CHERBOURG - FRANCE

Improved efficiency and comfort in the Gulf of Finland

ADELTE designed, manufactured and installed a new

state-of-the-art PEGASUS Passenger Boarding Bridge at

“Lansiterminaali”. The recently inaugurated West Terminal, now

equipped with the latest boarding technology, is prepared to

meet the needs of Helsinki - Tallinn ferry traffic for the

upcoming decades.
