• Do you like to be on a losing team?• I don’t• Donna I.S.D. is not a losing team• So what do we have to do to Win?

• This is the last year we only have the Redskin team; therefore we will use the football theme.

• Central Office are the Coaches• Principals are the quarterbacks• Teachers are the Receivers etc…

TEAM Work

• We Donna I.S.D., custodians, cafeteria workers, transportation, maintenance, paraprofessionals, teachers, librarians, principals, central office EVERYONE Needs to work together as a TEAM, otherwise we too will be destroyed

Excuses are Unacceptable

• What is done is done• No MORE EXCUSES (those died)• To be a Star we must put in a STAAR effort• We want the valley to know who Donna I.S.D.

is Forever!• It is NOT acceptable that we are one of the

school districts that did NOT meet AYP• We should have been one of the 3 who did

Make the Play• Unlike the coach you just saw; Donna I.S.D. has

NEVER said, “You do things, MY way!”• Coaches call the plays but once the play begins the

quarterback has the responsibility to make those split second decisions on how to execute that play

• Donna ISD has called the Early Exit Model play• You decide how to execute; using guidelines• Make the decisions based on YOUR students• Elementary campuses PLEASE keep in mind junior

highs; send students prepared; reading on level and in English

Donna I.S.D. Has NO Quitters

• To succeed you must fail• Ladies and Gentlemen we have failed• Are we going to quit?• Or have the HEART & Determination Rudy had?• Prove to yourself that you can lead a successful

campus• Believe in yourselves; believe in your staff &

• STAAR, AYP (STATE & Federal Accountability) the biggest battle of our professional lives

• Either we work as a team or we crumble as individuals

• In our profession we are facing the giants• You have been gifted with the ability of leadership• If you show your staff that you have been defeated;

they too will feel defeated• You are the Most influential person on your

campus; it can either be negative or positive…..• Don’t say you can’t do it, because you CAN• Don’t Quit• You give Donna I.S.D your Very BEST!
