Duty of Care - means to take reasonable care to avoid foreseeable risks.
All teachers need to be aware of the “Guidelines for the Safe Conduct of Sport and Physical Activity in Schools” which exist to inform staff and community members of standards and requirements for a wide range of activities and excursions. These guidelines are on the DET sport website (www.sports.det.nsw.edu.au).
