• to emphasis on prevention measures as a basic requirement for employee’s social security;

• to focus on accident and occupational diseases prevention measures through tripartite collaboration programs (Government, Employers, Employees, NGOs, Universities)

• to adopt strategies during APS2011 to describe how the objectives are to be reached

• SOCSO to take the lead in coordinating these prevention strategies as they are the Malaysian Social Security Institution providing a comprehensive social security protection to all Malaysian workers.

• SOCSO needs to rearrange its business strategies to focus on prevention by establishing an in house prevention team to coordinate this effort.

• Employers also should start investing in prevention.• The Resolution is a collective agreement between all

relevant stakeholders.
