“When Tomorrow Starts Without Me” When Tomorrow starts without me, And I’m not there to see
If the sun should rise and find your eyes, All filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn't cry The way you did today While thinking of the
many things, we didn't get to say. I know how much you love me As much as I love you And each time that you
think of me I know you’ll miss me too, But when tomorrow starts without me, Please try to understand That an angel
came and called my name, And took me by the hand He said my place was ready in heaven far above, And that I’d have to leave
behind All those I dearly love. But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye, I had so much to live for,
so much left yet to do It seemed almost impossible that I was leaving you. I thought of all the yesterdays, The good ones and the bad, I thought of all the
love we shared and all the fun we had. If I could relive yesterday, just even for awhile, I’d say good-bye and kiss you,
And maybe see you smile. But then I fully realized that this could never be For emptiness and memories
would take the place of me. So when tomorrow starts without me, Don’t think we’re far apart For every time
you think of me I’m right here in your heart.

Robert Jerome Littlejohn Robert Jerome Littlejohn, 48, of Shelby, North Carolina peacefully transitioned on February 24, 2018 at Cleveland County Hospice. Robert was born on February 8, 1970, the son of James E. Littlejohn, Sr. and the late Corene Elizabeth Littlejohn. Robert attended Burns High School. He was known in the community for helping people. He made people smile with his sense of humor. If you ever knew Robert, you would just love his kind smile and caring heart. Always a giver and a worker, he enjoyed singing to anyone and everyone; didn't make any difference who, he enjoyed a happy smile. His passion was going fishing and loving animals. Robert loved his family and making friends. As he traveled, he never traveled without his dog “Candy”. When the family had a cookout and grilled, Robert was our chef for the day. It was never a dull moment when he came around. Robert received Christ at an early age; later finding himself apart from GOD, he rededicated his life again. He loved singing for GOD and being around people who loved the Lord. His favorite song was “Walk Around Heaven”. When Robert became sick, he still laid in his sick bed singing songs. When his body became weaker and frail, Robert could still be found singing, “ Don’t You Want To Go Where Jesus Is”. Before Robert took his last breath, Robert shared with his family and friends, how much he truly loved the Lord. Robert knew the Lord was his shepherd. In addition to his mother, Corene Littlejohn, Robert was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Bessie Lee Rose and Beatrice L. Tuft; a grandfather, Ben Tuft and four uncles, Roger Rose, J.C. Littlejohn, Claude Littlejohn and David Littlejohn. Robert leaves to remember and cherish loving and fond memories, in addition to his father, James E. Littlejohn, Sr. ( Marilyn); two brothers, Edward L. Littlejohn ( Evang. Sybil) of Cherryville, NC and James F. Littlejohn ( Hazel) of Forest City, NC; two sisters, Patricia L. Wilson ( Scottie) of Lawndale, NC and Pricilla L. Wilson (Bryant) of Lawndale, NC; two aunts, Christine Phillips and Annie R. Jackson ( Ronnie), of Lawndale, NC and a host of nieces ,nephews, other relatives and friends.
