OUR FAREWELL TO FATHER MATTHEW: We have been saying goodbye to Father Matt for several weeks now since the news first broke that he would be leaving St.

Christopher & St. Patrick’s Parish and returning back to India. But this weekend, especially this Sunday, Father Matt will

celebrate his last mass in Buchanan at 11:30am followed by a celebration in his honor at Paradise Restaurant. It will be our

official fond farewell and an opportunity to express our gratitude to him for his service as a priest and his friendship these

last five years. “How lucky we were to have had someone that makes saying goodbye so hard.” Take care Father Matt and

enjoy your new venture and your family. We will miss you! Keep us in your prayers as we will keep you in ours. God

    Bless!

Our next BINGO will be on Tuesday, November 27 in the Parish Hall. Doors open at 7:00. BINGO starts at 7:30. Please

spread the word with your family, friends & neighbors. All are welcome. And remember the larger the crowd the larger the

cash prizes. Hope to see you!

Our future BINGO dates through the end of the year are: Tuesday, December 4 and Tuesday, December 18.

    Thirty-Third Sunday in Ordinary Time

First Reading: Daniel 12:1-3 Daniel discusses the end of the world, a time when the dead shall rise and everyone will be judged. He warns that some shall “be an everlasting horror and disgrace.” But he promises that some will live forever, and the wise will shine brightly to lead others to justice. Second Reading: Hebrews 10:11-14, 18 Priests repeatedly offered sacrifices that were unable to take away sin. But through Jesus’ one sacrifice, our sins were forgiven, leaving no need for other offerings. Gospel: Mark 13:24-32 Jesus told his disciples that many signs would be seen before the end of the world. He explained that the earth would pass away but his words would not. He also told them that neither the angels nor himself, but only his Father knew when this would take place.

BAPTISM: The Christian Community of Saint Christopher and Saint Patrick

would like to welcome with great joy those reborn by water and the Holy Spirit.

Jayden Abel Calle, Brianna Pamela Villa Quituisaca, Andrea Katherine Naula,

Mark Gael Encalada Chimbo, Bradley Zabbid Pinos Criollo and Anielle Anne

DeMatteo. May God Bless you and your families.
