  • Obituary Ronald was born in Albany, Ga on August 2, 1949, to the late David Glover and Louise Long. Ronald graduated from Carver High School in 1967 and attended South Georgia and Valdosta Colleges. He was married to Mary Lee Glover. Upon their union, they had four wonderful children: 1SG Ronald (Patrice) Glover of Tallahassee, FL, Reginald (Thomeca) Glover of Tallahassee, FL, Dr. David (Courtney) Glover of Columbia, SC, Lakiela Glover of Atlanta, GA.

Ronald also preceded in death by Sandra Jackson and Debra Long.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his brothers and sisters: Elnora Harrison Gordley of Atlanta, James F Glover of Douglas, Jacqueline (Nathaniel) Dunnom of Douglas, Johnnie L Tucker Ashford of Jacksonville, Glenn (Marshall) Tucker of Decatur, Elizabeth Williams of Douglas, Cynthia Monroe of Douglas and Krystal (Kenneth) Walker of Valdosta. Ronald had ten grandchildren and one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and loving friends.

Through all that Ronald encountered during his life here with us, he always expressed how proud he was of his children and their accomplishments.

Dad would always say, “Love is the answer.”

    I Corinthians 13:4-7

Love is patient and kind. Love is

not jealous or boastful or proud or

rude. It does not demand its own

way. It is not irritable, and it

    keeps no record of being

wronged. It does not rejoice about

    injustice but rejoices whenever

the truth wins out. Love never

gives up, never loses faith, is

    always hopeful, and endures

    through every circumstance.
