We put the writing into cut -outhouses and then stuck them on a

background.

Our School

• Our school is RaumatiBeach School. It is agreat place to cometo. We learn heapsand make lots offriends. We made abook about ourfavourite places atschool. You can lookat it in our classroom.

Silent reading time is very peaceful.

Shared Reading

• We enjoy sharingbooks together.Sometimes theteacher reads andsometimes we listento a CD.

Library

• Every week we go to the library to read booksand choose ones to read at home or in theclassroom.

At morning tea and lunchtime weplay outside.

• We get to do special, exciting things aswell as all our school work. We made corndolls; we have a school cross country; wehad a visit from Pineapple Pete and a funrun; we learned soccer skills from Jakeand Joe; we can play a variety of sports atschool; we have singing and Kapahaka inthe hall and we have a Team B assemblyevery fortnight.
