Perhaps you’ve wanted to start a community organization but have been overwhelmed by the requirements of finances, legal restrictions and hoops for official nonprofit status, websites, emails, publicity, marketing plans, boards… you name it. Perhaps you’ve already started a nonprofit and are stymied in your growth by all of these restrictions and rules. What if there was a way to make change in your community without money? What if you could spend your time making change instead of jumping through hoops? This participatory session will teach you how this is not only possible but also extremely rewarding and even fun. You’ll leave with new ideas, new insight, free tools, inspiration and hopefully a few less “rules”.
