We make it easier for people to get their job done by building applications for them. Lately we’ve been using SharePoint as our development platform, but we work with
other software as well.

My teams employ agile methodologies -- primarily management through Scrum and Extreme Programming principles -- to build our software, as we think rapid
prototyping works best out there.
My background:
I grew up in West LA.
I went to Loyola Marymount in Los Angeles, where I
played lacrosse.
Got the travel bug and went to Germany to study language.
Decided to get a job in Silicon Valley since I liked computers…

...and ended up drinking a lot of coffee in North Beach.
My first job was with a container leasing company.

Container leasing?!?!!
Surprisingly, the transportation industry turns out to be a very
inefficient one.

And that’s where software comes into this story…
Our little startup set out to revolutionize the container shipping industry.
I’m surprised you haven’t heard of it.
(that never works at cocktail parties either)
During those two years I travelled throughout Asia
and South America.
From there I joined another startup company, Campus
Pipeline, where friends were trying to bring the IT
infrastructure at universities into the 21st century.
This time, I got to see lots of Akron, Ohio and South Bend, Indiana.

Finally, I began working for General Dynamics - Advanced Information Systems trying to
help the Air Force sort out their acquisition processes.
As you can see, I seem to enjoy thankless, hard work!

Luckily I got to learn process reengineering from the man
himself, Dr. Michael Hammer.
And I got to work with a lot of really smart people from the Jet
Propulsion Laboratory and the Aerospace Corporation on things
like process engineering and Knowledge Management in the
DoD Space Enterprise.
Finally, I went to UC Irvine for my MBA to study innovation and
technology, and to help make the leap into other ventures.
Thanks for following along!
