RYCOAT F-100 SOLID PARAFFIN FOR ACTIVE PACKAGING Specialities Description It is a specially formulated paraffin that is applied to paper or cardboard boxes to avoid the proliferation of pathogens and extend the life of the food (fruit, vegetables, etc.) being transported. It is made of highly-refined paraffins and selected additives that have been properly treated for food use, in accordance with FDA regulations, Food Codex, etc. It provides an excellent moisture barrier, great coatability, great handling stability and perfect adherence at different temperatures. Applications It is particularly suitable for coating paper and/or cardboard boxes used for transporting fruit and vegetables. It is applied in the same way as traditional paraffins for coating paper and/or cardboard.
