Ladies & Gentlemen of the Moose, I am pleased that I will be your Governor for one more year. There were several candidates I felt would be fine officers, but their work hours would conflict at this time with the schedule required for the position. Therefore dispensation was granted for me to serve beyond the standard two year term. I was concerned because I will be dealing with several projects in the upcoming year. These may conflict with my ability to al-ways be available at the Lodge. However, my board is willing to help with that if re-quired. The general membership meeting I had asked for was a great success. I wish to thank Jason and all the board members that participated in the program. I had hoped for more attendees but those who came were a great source of ideas and feedback on the feelings of the membership. The greatest emphasis was on the need of volunteer-ing and ideas on providing programs for our youth. Some of that has already been im-plemented along with future events being planned by the WOTM. Watch for upcom-ing details. My emphasis this year will be on membership participation and retention. Our schedule of events is varied and interesting. The upcoming changes in the kitchen lead by Chef Steve and his cohosts is really exciting. It’s far from a mundane menu. Please check our newsletters and electronic venues for Lodge Activities infor-mation. Congratulations to everyone who remained or have joined the Men’s & WOTM boards or chair positions. I am grateful to those that are volunteering or are on a com-mittee. The Lodge programs wouldn’t exist without you. I look forward to working with everyone to make this a successful year. See You at the Lodge Fraternally Yours, Bernie Kiefer, Governor

FYI THIS LODGE IS RUN BY VOLUNTEERS

PLEASE BE KIND AND GENEROUS TO THEM!!!!

Hello Ladies, I am excited to be Senior Regent this upcoming year! I have been a Member of the Lodge for over three years and these last three years have been better than I could have ever imagined. The love and support I have received has been honestly life saving for me. I am a single mother of 2 amazing children, Maddilynn is 6 years old and Jaxstin is 1. I work full time at Country Inns and Suites in West Bend as Group Sales Coordinator, it fits me per-fectly and I couldn't be happier! I am a huge sports fan and LOVE the Packers and Brewers. In the summer I enjoy camping, swimming and generally just being outdoors. For this upcoming chapter year I am honored to announce my board of officers, Jr. Regent, Vickie Pretsch, Recorder, Barb Carter, Secretary/Treasurer, Eileen Mueller and Jr. Grand Regent, Bonnie Ullrich. All of these ladies have been a support system for me and I could not ask for a bet-ter group to help me accomplish a Fantastic Moose Year! I also want to say Thank You to my Chairmen for joining me in the upcoming year, It's a big task to fulfill but I have complete faith we can do it if we all work together. Also to all of the Women of The Moose of our Chapter, the love, suggestions and support so far has been amazing and I hope, by this time next year, I am congratu-lating all of us on making our year! We all need to remember to keep Membership a goal so we can reach +1 membership at the end of our chapter year! Finally, I want to fill this year with new ideas, events, fundraisers, membership, change and success! Our lodge is a staple in this community and we need to let everyone know what an im-portant role we all play for Mooseheart and Moosehaven, I had the pleasure of taking Maddilynn to Mooseheart last year for the tree lighting and my love for my Moose Family grew even more, I en-courage everyone of you to take the time to visit these children and learn what all our hard work goes towards. I also encourage you to voice your ideas, make a difference and come up and sup-port your lodge! I love seeing all our members during big events, and would love to see more on a weekly basis at our lodge. I make a promise to all of you that this year is going to be one of the best yet and I need as much help and encouragement as I can get! We can do this!

Love Always, Senior Regent, Tammy Schmidt
