“We have the best staff
possible. They are full of
energy and enthusiasm.
They are very eager to
help people. We staff
over 500 people in Sikes-
ton and surrounding ar-
eas. It isn’t an easy task
to deal with that many
employees when they are
at over 30 client sites
with different expecta-
tions, but everyone in the
Manpower office goes
above and beyond with
outstanding customer
service.”

Volume 1, Number 10 November
We hope it has been a banner year for
each of you professionally; it certainly
has been for the Chamber! Thanks to
the continued commitments of you - our
partners in business - we have been
able to undertake A LOT of changes. We
are finishing this year with a move to
Historic Downtown Sikeston! To help
retain one of our true friends in busi-
ness, Withers Radio, from moving out of
the area, we have vacated our previous
residence near the airport. Thanks to a
renewed partnership with the City of
Sikeston, we have relocated to the for-
mer DPS building/Post Office on 215 N.
New Madrid Street. We hope that each and every one of our members has
the chance to stop by and visit our new Sikeston Area Chamber of Com-
merce location. The new SACC building is currently open to the public as
the Chamber's hours remain the same, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday
through Friday.
IT IS TRUE! SACC HAS MOVED!!!!
Who would you like to recognize for their achievements? Call or email us with your nominations!

2013 Leadership Sikeston Starts Soon! Leadership
Sikeston is
an innovative
community
program
designed to
identify and
motivate
emerging
leaders and
to develop their potential for community leadership roles by exposing them
to the opportunities, realities, and challenges of our community. This
program is for individuals who want to be community leaders and desire to
increase their own level of involvement by broadening their knowledge of
the Sikeston/Miner area.
There will be seven sessions throughout January-July. Sessions will
include: City Govt. Agri-Business, Economic Development, Education,
Healthcare, Media and community involvement.
As you can see from this aggressive schedule our Leadership
Candidates will gain knowledge in many critical areas of our community.
The Sikeston Young Professionals Group and the SACC Board of Directors
feel very strongly that this program will ensure our community’s future
success by preparing our leaders now.
Participants in this program must have the support and
commitment of their business or organization and should possess the
personal commitment to attend all of the program sessions.
