On September 27, the Church celebrates the feast of St. Vincent DePaul, who knew that “God had sent him to bring good news to the poor.” Together with your gifts, the members of the Society of St. Vincent DePaul continue his work and mission in our parish.
BRICK CAMPAIGN
Due to the many requests we’ve recently had about the bricks in our Prayer Garden, we will take new orders for bricks beginning Tuesday, September 15th thru Friday, October 23rd. This will be our last campaign. We have 132 spaces available. The cost of the brick is $50.00. You must complete an order form indicating the inscription you desire. The forms are available at the Parish Center.
CARING FOR FRIENDS
We are looking for volunteers to transport the meals from our freezer in the History Room of the Parish Center to the Caring for Friends facility on Townsend Road (no personal deliveries required). This would require one trip per week and volunteers may take turns. Interested? Please call 215-637-3525, ext. #16.

Feast of Saint Francis – Blessing of Animals
Sunday, October 4th, is the feast of Saint Francis of Assisi. Saint Francis is remembered for the spirit of peace and harmony that he cultivated in people and in the world around him. Saint Francis is also the patron saint of animals. Please bring all your furry and scaly friends to our Prayer Garden on Sunday October 4th at 1:00 PM.
