Sacrament of Baptism: The Sacrament of Baptism should be celebrated as soon as possible after birth. Therefore parents should contact the parish office prior to the child’s birth. This will allow adequate time for the necessary preparation of the parents and the Godparents.
Sacrament of Reconciliation: On Thursday’s from 6:15-7:00 PM at St Gerard or by appointment.
First Reconciliation and First Communion, Sacrament of Confirmation: Please contact the Coordinator of Religious Education (María Morales) for more information.
Sacrament of Marriage: Requires at least nine months of preparation before the Marriage. Contact the Pastor, through the parish office, to start the process.
Pastoral Care: Please contact the parish office if you are aware a parishioner sick and desires to receive the Eucharist, Anointing of the Sick or a visit from the Pastor.
Parish Registration forms are available through the office and under the bulletin boards in the commons.

Jubilee House Advent Retreat for Mission Parishes An Advent Retreat will be held at the Jubilee House in Abingdon on December 8 & 9. The focus is to encourage attendees to recognize and grow their own relationship with Christ so that you can share joy with others in our parish! If you are a ministry leader or you would like to attend, please consider attending this retreat. Advanced Registration is required by December 1. Please contact Sheri Kemp at Diocese 804-622-5113 Friday night mass and retreat, with soup supper and Advent prayer service, followed by a wine and dessert social. Cost $5 Saturday retreat/workshop from 9 - 3 with lunch provided. Cost $10. Friday night and Saturday events, commuting from home. The word, posada, means an inn. To the humble Mexican the re-enactment of the Holy Family's quest for lodgings is a ritual of deep religious significance. The Posadas, which start on the sixteenth of December and end on Christmas Eve, take place at different houses each night. A schedule will be available the first week of December. La palabra, posada, significa un sitio de hospedaje. Para el humilde mejicano el restablecimiento de la búsqueda de hospedaje por la Sagrada Familia es un ritual de un profundo significado religioso. action for ministries who need help.

EVERYONE’S catechetical responsibility flows from the waters of baptism. At baptism, all Christians are commissioned to share in Jesus' ministry. This is an essential part of being Christian. To be baptized is to stand as one of Jesus' disciples, ready to do his work. Please act on this responsibility and become a catechist. For new catechists, training will be provided on February 3

Ministry to young people from grades 9-12. Primary
responsibilities are providing catechesis, spiritual formation and
activities for our youth using the Life Teen program and
St Andrew Cemetery Office is open only Monday—Friday

looking form information about the cemetery or where deceased
