May Christ’s Resurrection touch our hearts that we may boldly proclaim Him as Lord and Savior.
What a wonderful community of faith we have here at St. Joseph’s. The time, talent and treasure of our parishioners is truly a blessing.
Thank you to all who made our Holy Week and Easter Liturgies so beautiful; Our Music Ministry under the direction of Mr. Joseph Nigro, Cantors, Soloists, Instrumentalists, Choirs, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, Lectors, Ushers, Altar Servers, and Ministers who serve the residents in our nursing homes and homebound. Thank you for all that you do for the greater honor and glory of Almighty God.

A Message to All Eighth Graders from the Saint Joseph’s Youth Group:
On Sunday, April 30th after the 6:00PM Mass in the Parish Center, we will be having a pizza party. Please consider donating the gift of life at our annual Spring blood drive which will be held on Friday, April 28th from 2 PM to 8 PM in the Parish Center. As always, giving the gift of life is very im-portant and at this time of year there is a spe-cial need for all types of blood. If you are be-tween 16 and 75 and in good health, you can donate, so please mark your calendar and help save a life. If you have passed your 76th birth-day you can still donate with a note from your doctor letting us know you are healthy enough to give blood. If you are 16 we need parent’s approval. We will be signing up donors after the Masses on the weekend of April 22-23 but if you are unsure of the time that you will be available, we absolutely welcome walk-ins so don’t let that stop you. Additionally we need volunteers to help sign in our donors and make sure they are comforta-ble after the donation so if you can give a cou-ple of hours helping out please contact Dan Sudlik at 914-276-3125 or [email protected].
Spirituality Seminar Series Church of St. Joseph

On Friday, April 21th, we will have a Spirituality Seminar conducted by Ms. Judy Schiavo. Ms. Schiavo’s presentation will deal with:
Hidden Women of the Gospel
Our Gospels are filled with unnamed people who lead us to God. You are invited to spend a morning reflecting on some hidden women in these Gospels: Peter’s mother-in-law, the prodigal son’s mother, the mother of the man born blind, and the person on the road to Emmaus. Based on Kathy Coffey’s book, these reflections invite us to participate more deeply in Jesus’ life and teachings. For 44 years Judy was an educator and administrator on the elementary, secondary, and college levels. Currently she is a spiritual director and facilitator of retreats, as well as, evenings of prayer at the Loyola Jesuit Retreat Center in Morristown NJ, at the Mari-andale Retreat Center in Ossining, NY and at various parishes.

Jude Aguwa Seminars are scheduled on Friday and begin with the 9:00 AM Mass in the church; it continues in the Par-ish Center with a continental breakfast and the presentation followed by lunch. Pre-registration is helpful in planning for each ses-sion, in order to provide for the appropriate number of lunches. The cost for each session is $12.
