Prayer to Saint Kateri Tekakwitha St. Kateri Tekakwitha, favored child and Lily of the Mohawks, I come to seek your intercession in my present need: (mention it). I admire the virtues which adorned your soul: love of God and neighbor, humility, obedience, patience, purity and the spirit of sacrifice. Help me to imitate your example in my state of life. Through the goodness and mercy of God, Who has blessed you with so many graces which led you to the true faith and to a high degree of holiness, pray to God for me and help me. Obtain for me a very fervent devotion to the Holy Eucharist so that I may love Holy Mass as you did and receive Holy Communion as often as I can. Teach me
also to be devoted to my crucified Savior as you were, that I may cheerfully bear my daily crosses for love of Him Who suffered so much for love of me. Most of all, I beg you to pray for me that I may avoid sin, lead a holy life and save my soul. Amen.

We need to have a fairly accurate head count with which to make con ngency plans dependent on instruc ons from ADNY about how to conduct the program for the coming year. Accurate head count also helps with ordering books and materials in proper quan ty. Summer Office Hours The FF Office will close for the summer break as of July 16th. We will reopen for the new season on Monday, August 17th. During this break emails and messages will be checked and answered weekly. BIRTH RIGHT OF DUTCHESS COUNTY Birthright of Dutchess County has been helping our Mom's and Babies during this Pandemic. We did close briefly to assess ways we could help safely. Come to me heedfully, listen, that you may have life. I will renew with you the everlas ng cove-nant.” During the hot days of summer we are constantly looking for relief. A refreshing drink, a cool breeze, a pool or lake, a break from oppression and toil. Water is o en the most welcome solu on. It was the water of bap sm which gave us new life, and allowed us to live the covenant the Lord made with His peo-ple. Water was a constant in the bible from crea on, the flood, the Red Sea, and even the side of Jesus on Calvary. It is the water of grace which enables us to have a per-sonal rela onship with Jesus Christ. When we celebrate the sacraments, every me we receive the Eucharist, we are touched by God’s saving grace. Maybe it is worth a minute to ask the Lord to help me appreciate the great gi He offers me constantly. Remember this spring when the virus reminded us to wash our hands for twenty seconds? It was not only a pre-cau on, but a remedy. May we “come to the water’ and be renewed.

EIGHTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

It is the water of grace which enables us to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. When we
celebrate the sacraments, every time we receive the Eucharist, we are touched by God’s saving grace.
Maybe it is worth a minute to ask the Lord to help me appreciate the great gift He offers me constantly.

only a precaution, but a remedy. May we “come to the water’ and be renewed.
