THE CATHLIC POST

Did you receive the special issue this weekend of The Catholic Post, our excellent diocesan newspa-per? We hope you took a few moments to look it over. You’ll find it is a wonderful help for Catholic liv-ing. We especially invite your support of The Catholic Post’s “Delivering Unity Campaign” outlined in this edition. Every campaign gift is like a traditional sub-scription in that it ensures home delivery throughout 2012. But please be extra generous so that the vital information and inspiration found on its pages may be more widely shared - both via newsprint and online. Envelopes are found within the issue but contributions may also be made via credit card online at the-catholicpost.com or by calling 1-800-340-5630.

(Please note —This year The Post asks that the envelopes be mailed directly to their office, not dropped in the parish collection basket. Thank

Dinner and the Theatre for the Youth Group

Participants of the Youth Group gathered in the Im-maculate Conception Hall on Sunday Jan.22 for din-ner and a movie. The menu consisted of spaghetti, salad ,bread and dessert. Tables were decorated with table cloths greens and floating candles. After din-ing the youth were shown a faith inspired movie en-titled Faith Like Potatoes. This movie traced the story of the rugged South African farmer as he endures re-markable adversity on his quest to discover the true power of faith. The evening concluded with a discus-sion of suggestions for future events and an ending prayer. Thanks so much to the Youth Group Commit-tee Members for planning and arranging this event.
