All dioceses and eparchies have Victim Assistance
Coordinators, assuring that victims of abuse will be heard. In
2016, dioceses and eparchies provided out-reach and
support to 250 victims/survivors and their families who came
forward to report abuse. Continued support was also
provided to 1,510 victims/survivors and their families who
reported abuse in prior years.

prayer before the Blessed Sacrament for our needs,

St. Patrick’s Parish in Sonora will be holding a raffle to raise
funds for the replacement of the front doors and a redesign
of the entrance of their beautiful 150-year-old church. There
are only 1,200 tickets to be sold, so hurry! Tickets are $100.
The raffle will be held at St. Patrick’s in Sonora, on Sunday,
May 20th, at 1:00PM. You do not need to be present to win.

The Altar Society would like to wish everyone a Happy
Easter! May the Risen Lord bless you and your family. We
would like to thank everyone who came and supported our
annual Palm Sunday Breakfast last week. Thank you also
for all the dedicated workers and donators. We appreciate
all of your continued support throughout the years. Our
proceeds go directly to purchasing Altar Flowers and
Communion Bread for our church.
April 16, 2017 Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of
the Lord
DIRECTOR OF YOUTH MINISTRY
St. Patrick’s is in need of a part-time Youth Ministry Director.
It is a volunteer position with the possibility of future
compensation. Director to meet with youth, ages 14 through
17 once per week for faith sharing and catechesis, pizzas,
socials, games and other activities; all expenses paid.
The Ministry is promoted through and interfaces with the
Confirmation Ministry. Music background or bilingual ability
is helpful but not necessary. Anyone interested in leading or
would like to be part of a core team, please see Fr. Jeff
and/or call the parish secretary for more information.

SCHOLARSHIP
Open to graduating seniors from Escalon or Ripon High
School. Two $500 scholarships will be awarded one from
each high school. Students can pick up applications at the
parish office or at the Counseling Office at both Escalon and
Ripon High School. Apply now, as deadline is April 21st.
To qualify, students must be a graduating senior with plans
to further their education through college or trade school.
Student's immediate family or grandparents need to be
parishioners at St. Patrick's.

Choir! Rehearsals are from 4:00-5:00PM on Mondays in the
Choir Loft.

The second collection last Sunday for St. Vincent de Paul

San Patricio necesita un Director del Ministerio de Jóvenes
a tiempo parcial. Es una posición voluntaria con la
posibilidad de compensación en el futuro. El Director se
reúne con jóvenes de 14 a 17 años de edad una vez por
semana para compartir la fe y da catequisis, pizza, juegos
socials y otras actividades; todos los gastos son pagados.
El ministerio es promovido a través de e interfiere con el
Ministerio de Confirmación. El fondo musical o la habilidad
bilingüe es útil, pero no es necesario. Cualquier persona
