• The ECB1200 is engineered to provide high power, high sensitivity throughput and is as well equipped with high gain antennas to achieve greater coverage and long range transmission.
• The robust mechanism and Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) enhances the ECB1200 can be installed on the wall or desktop easily and be powered by an Ethernet cable which is compliant with IEEE 802.3at standard. It makes the Internet connection more flexible.
• The ECB1200 provides a wide-range of authentication and encryption standards (including WEP, WPA, WPA2, TKIP/AES and IEEE802.1X) to enforce the maximum security. To provide steady and high transmitting data rate, EnGenius configured the band steering, clients limit and clients status for the administrator to monitor and manage the wireless service.

Fast handover & Client limit
When a weakening wireless link between access point and client is detected below specified RSSI, the AP will encourage client to connect to the surrounding AP with stronger signal.
Guest network
The guest network is designed to allow users to manage temporary “visitors” access within the network with specific SSID, security and DHCP range. When visitors associate with the specific SSID for accessing Internet, the administrators can manage and monitor the network from the central location to prevent the malicious attack to applications at the local network.
