Advanced load balance management- traffic shaping per SSID

Traffic shaping function allows users to manage the inbound and outbound traffic of the device. By setting the percentage of data rate in each SSID, users can control the load of this device easily.

Multiple SSID-to-VLAN mapping

To help operators to offload 3G to the Wi-Fi seamlessly, RADIUS accounting is supported in EnGenius enterprise AP. Data transmission between the mobile devices and RADISU server is being well encrypted.

Secure Shell (SSH) is a cryptographic network protocol for securing data communication, remote shell services or command execution and other secure network services between two connected computers, via a secure channel over an insecure network, a server or a clients. The encryption used by SSH is intended to provide confidentiality and integrity of data over an unsecured network, such as the Internet.

The guest network is designed to allow users to manage “visitors” access within the network. When visitors associate with the unique SSID for accessing Internet, the administrators can manage and monitor the network from the central location to prevent the malicious attack to applications at the local network.

When working as AP mode, “Band Steering” function is available. Band Steering steers the 5GHz-compatible clients to 5GHz band by responding only to the 5GHz association requests and not the 2.4GHz requests. It helps to leave more bandwidth for 2.4GHz device operating in 2.4GHz band.
