Smartphones, tablets and smart mobile devices have made how and when we access data much easier. With new functionality constantly multiplying the ease with which we can access and use data, mobile technology is set to increase its involvement in our everyday lives, both professionally and personally. As a private person we are used to be able to access many services directly from our smartphone or tablet. The mobile device is the first thing we fire up in the morning and the last we put aside before going to bed. It is there, right next to us almost all of our awake time.

Now its time for business software like CRM to take the same leap as we already did several years ago privately. Those providers building truly mobile systems will be the ones the users will choose, just having an app isn't just going to be good enough 2014.

As the mobile expansion takes hold, it will have an impact on the traditional ways CRM is accessed. We’ve already seen PC shipments fall and it’s expected that this trend will continue as mobile devices become more powerful and internet connection spreads and advances.
