My Fellow Elks: I hope everyone enjoyed the winter weather in January and you were not too in- convenienced with the icy roads. February is here and the Elk year is rapidly coming to a close. With February comes the election of officers for the next Elks Year starting in April. We will be opening the nominations at our first meeting in February, the 10th and the actual elections will take place at our second meeting in February, the 24th. This is very important part of our lodge and you are encouraged to participate in this process of electing the 2016/2017 officers for our lodge. We are all proud to be members of this lodge of Elks and what we do for the community but the only way we can continue is to have individuals who are willing to vol- unteer their time for the betterment of the lodge. If you are interested getting involved, please con- tact one of the current officers or e-mail we at [email protected] . There are plenty of areas that we need help, wither its overseeing one of the programs, running one of our events or helping out, there is always room for someone who wants to get involved, we can never have too many vol- unteers.
