Please read the owner manual carefully before operating your pellet
stove/boiler.
Caution! Schock Hazard! Risk of electrical schock which may cause serious injuries or
death. Please disconnect the mains before servicing this equipment.
Caution! Hot Surfaces! The boiler/stove assembly and/or the temperature sensors
may be extremely hot!
Caution! Moving Parts! Watch your hands while servicing the moving parts such as auger and/or rotary fuel feeding assembly which may cause
serious injuries.
Caution! This device is intended to be professionally installed.
Incorrect installation and/or operating parameters may cause dangerous conditions.

Introduction Thank you for buying the World’s most advanced pellet stove
controller. Smartpell will made the winter more comfortable with the all
benefits of reneweable energy, thanks to its advanced software
technology.
Control Panel
Remote Controller Smartpel controller has an Infrared remote controller for basic
settings.
(Remote controller is not available for all models)

Quick Start
Turn ON and Turn OFF
Push and hold the command dial until the countdown has been
completed. If you release the button in less than 5 seconds, power
state will not change.
Setting Up the Temperature
Push command dial to enter the Main Menu
Push the command dial again to enter
Temperature Setup
Clockwise rotation of the command dial will
increase the temperature and Counter clockwise rotation will do vice
versa.
Push command dial to return.

The Software Smartpel controller software has two menu groups for Users and a menu
group for service professionals.
Push the command dial in order to launch the Main Menu. Rotate the
command dial clockwise or counter clockwise to navigate in the Menu
Group.

Fan
Adjusts the fan speed in five steps or automatic. Ventilation fans are not
available in boilers.
Automatic Manual (5 speed)
Week Timer
The week timer allows you to set three programs for each day of the
week to turn on or turn off your boiler.
To set up the week timer, first select the
desired day of the week.

Than highlight the Active switch:
(OFF) Selected day’s schedules are disabled.
Push to toggle (ON) Selected day’s schedules are enabled.
Than select and adjust the turn on and turn off times.
After all settings are completed rotate the command dial to highlight

Settings Menu
Date-Time
Adjusts the system date and time.
Day of the week will be calculated
automatically.
About the backup battery: Instead of cadmium and/or mercury
contained batteries, Smartpel controller has an environment friendly,
lead and mercury free super capacitor. Backup super capacitor can
operate the onboard clock/calendar at least 3 months without
recharging.

Screen-Sounds
Brightness: Adjusts the backlight brightness
of the LCD display.
Dim Screen: Adjusts a timer to dim the
screen backlights. It can be disabled by
adjusting to “Never”.
Illumination: Enables/disables the command dial illumination.
Volume: Adjusts the notification sound leves.
Language
Selects the user interface language.
Some languages may not be available for all
versions.
Service
Launches the Service Menu.
Please note that the Service Menu is only for maintenance professionals
and it is password protected.
