CPR Training Canyousavealife?Hopefullyyouwouldneverneedto.WehaveanopportunitytoparticipateinCPRtrainingrighthereintheScenicBrookNeighborhood.Thecostofthecoursewouldbedependantonthenumberofparticipants,(between$30and$50),butthinkinglongterm,thecostofsavingsomeone’slife?Priceless. The CPR class would be taught by a trainer who is state certified throughtheAmericanRedCross.BasicCPRtrainingis4hours.Aclasscoveringadult,childandinfantis8hours.Thereisalsoa4-hourrefreshercourse.Uponcompletionofthecourse,eachparticipantwill be given a certification card. The secretarypositioniscurrentlyavailable.Inaddition,theEdwardsresignedfromtheboard.PatBoyt’sappointmenttotheboardwasunanimouslyapproved. ThecitycouncilapprovedSBNA’szoningrequest.Mr.Whitliffwas to provide us with the final conditional overlays. To date, there have been 2 or 3 readings and the SBNA has not been notified of thesereadings.Libbyistosigntheconditionaloverlays. The first draft park improvement plans designed by LandImprovementGroup(LIG)werepresentedtotheboard.AdditionalinputsandchangestotheparkplansarebeingprovidedtoLIG.LIGwillprovideabreakdownofparkimprovementbyphaseandcost.
