Our goal for today is:

Participants will become aware of WV CSOs and resources for application;

Participants will have opportunities to collaborate with colleagues throughout the day; and

Participants will collaborate to design NFI Walk-To Intervention Plan by grouping for intervention and creating a Walk-To protocol.

• All teachers agreed to have team meetings from 2:30 to 3:00 on specific days.

• Enrichment teachers fill in bus duties on days of meetings.– 3rd grade meets – Thursdays weekly– 4th grade meets – Tuesdays weekly– 5th grade meets – Wednesdays bi-weekly

Timeline of SIT EventsSeptember 29th (11:30)-Discuss plans for a retreat at the Bridgeport Country Club October 10th (11:30)-finalize plans for the retreat October 14th-16th – Retreat at Bridgeport Country Club October 16 (3:00)-created SIT Team and discussed ideas for the visits (Bridgeport County Club- Kay, Lola, Vickie, Ricky and Christy)

October 22nd (3:00) SIT Meeting-looked at the first draft of SIT, created norms, schedule, and visit check off forms. October 27th (2:30) SIT Meeting-addressed concerns from staff about SIT Visits and re-evaluated the forms. November 3rd (1:15) School Improvement Meeting-addressed questions for WVDE visit. (Kay, Ricky, JoDee, Christy, Pat Webster, Jennifer Koreski, Julie Clayton, Hannah Caplan, Jackie Shaver, Mary Jo Greaver, Justin Kifer) November 3rd (2:30) SIT Meeting- (Lola, Kay, Christy, Ricky, Hannah, Justin) November 5th –School Improvement Visit (Kay, Ricky, JoDee, Christy, Pat Webster, Jennifer Koreski, Julie Clayton, Hannah Caplan, Jackie Shaver, Mary Jo Greaver, Justin Kifer) December 3 (2:30) - Homework (Ricky, Kay, Justin, and Christy)

More Initiatives• Technology Integration

– The students on the left are participating in a video teleconference with the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, OH

– The calendar to the left is a Google Calendar, used to keep teachers up to date on upcoming events

– 4 teachers currently are using interactive whiteboards in their classroom. 4 more will be in the classroom soon.
