Gap Analysis Bully Prevention-Identify the key elements that are problematic at the school via questionnaire/surveys - Meet with the students of the ESP team and implement proactive activities, for example, guest speakers, community events, police interaction when dealing with Identified school related Bullying matters. - Implement a full scale Bully prevention program by providing staff training, student inservices and community awareness. -Involve all staff in the bully prevention process. To enhance the quality and learning of both staff and students. Fostering a healthy, respectful and compassionte work place for all. Promote peace, harmony, self respect, dignity and compassion. Use progressive discipline/corrective discipline when dealing with issues that emerge with students. Identifying the major and minor incidents with feedback from the Safe Schools Committee. Provide parents, staff and students immediate feedback on the progressive discipline approach utilized. Understand that not all issues are identical and that one cannot paint all discpline issues with the same brush. Issues are dealt with on an individual basis and a full scale investigation taking into consideration all evidence and parameters will be utilized so that a fair judgement is issued.

Prepare first time eligible students for successful completion of the OSSLT. Provide students with an overview and understanding of the different Literacy Test parts and requirements.Off site one day literacy camps for students writing the OSSLT for the second time.Provide students with sample questions and anwsers.

Promote and provide a collection of reading materials geared at engaging grade 9 and 10 boys in reading for entertainment. The materials are avaliable in the Library for regular circulation. The materials are focused at improving literacy skills.
