IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE CHIEF:

Ask yourself this… if you have made a call

to 9-1-1 and you’re waiting for help to

arrive; will emergency responders know

which home on the street is yours? What

if every second counts? Please be sure

that your home’s address is clearly

marked either near the front door of the

residence or out by the street—preferably

on the mailbox if it’s apparent that it’s

the mailbox for your residence. Street

numbers must not be concealed,

destroyed, faded or removed.

Ordinance, that all owners, landlords,

managers and agents MUST register all

tenants/renters from all properties located in

Reserve Township. Forms are available at the

Township Office.

FREE admissions, health screenings, and lunch! The health and safety fair is FREE and OPEN to the public. Local

organizations will be on site to give FLU SHOTS at NO CHARGE with

presentation of MEDICARE and/or HEALTH INSURANCE CARD. Health

screenings and information about local programs and services will also

Trick or Treat

in Reserve Township

Trick or Treating this year will be Tuesday,

October 31, 2017 from 5:30PM to 7:30PM

HALLOWEEN TRICK OR TREATING SAFETY TIPS

Children should go out during daylight hours

only, unless accompanied by an adult.

Plan a safe route so parents know where their

older kids will be at all times and set a time for

their return home.

Let children know not to cut through back alleys

and fields.

Instruct your children not to eat their treats

until they have been examined by you.

Make sure your child has a flashlight, glow stick

and/or has reflective tape on their costume.

Instruct your child never to go into the home of

a stranger or get into their car.

RESERVE PRIMARY SCHOOL NEWS

KUNG FU

Reserve Primary will offer Kung Fu

lessons taught by a local martial arts

instructor. Classes are held weekly on

Thursdays at 5pm and 6pm in

Reserve's gym. Tuition is $30.00 a

month. Classes are open to both

girls and boys who are 5 years and

older. Classes start September

Reserve Fall Family Festival

At R at Reserve Primary School

Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 5pm-9pm

Enjoy games, crafts and food for the entire family. All

proceeds benefit the RPC and the students of Reserve.

BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

The Board holds their regular monthly meetings on the

second Monday of each month at 7:00 PM. Monthly

workshop meetings are conducted on the fourth Monday of

each month at 6:00 PM. All meetings are held at the

Township Office, 33 Lonsdale Street.

The Annual Reserve Township Halloween Parade will be held on Sunday,

October 29, 2017. The parade will begin at 1:00 PM sharp – Rain or

Shine. The parade will form on the corner of Pittview Ave & Mt. Troy

Road in front of Standard Bank(Allegheny Bank). Check in starts at

11:30am. A shuttle will be available for those who wish to park at the

Township offices or Reserve School.
