Advantages for

OXFORD • SCOR has been a resource for local Economic Development

staff on projects within Oxford

• Since Oxford does not have EDO’s at the County level SCOR

has tried to provide a bridge between inquiries and staff who

perform economic development functions such as CAO’s

• SCOR has worked with the rural communities in Oxford on their

BR & E efforts which helped to identify the need for a rural

economic development officer

• Oxford Workforce Plans came in part from SCOR ‘s strategic

update

• Reports to Chambers and BIA’s regarding the competitive

analysis, attractiveness indicators alone are worth between 10-

20 thousand if purchased separately
