Notice is hereby given that the Fifty-Fifth Annual GeneralMeeting will be held at the Club, 204-230 Marine Parade,Maroubra on Wednesday, 30th November 2016 at 7.45pm.
In accordance with the club’s Articles of Association, there willbe no elections for the Board of Directors this year as biennialelections are held, the last being in 2015.
The Annual Report for the year ended 30 June 2016 is nowavailable on the club’s website www.maroubraseals.com.au ora hard copy will be available from reception shortly.
Notice to Members including 2017 renewal notices have beenposted and members are asked to bring them into the clubwhen renewing. If members do not receive their renewalnotice, please check with reception to see if we have yourcorrect address.

Seals Golf reportSouth Coast – 05/06 November 2016Last weekend was the annual South Coast trip. Numbers weredown on previous years but 21 golfers made the trek to battle itout over 36 holes of golf, the event was a team Ambrose withteams of 3 or 4 players.
Saturday (Calderwood Valley) saw the wind come up to makethings challenging but the scores didn’t seem to be affected with 2teams recording scores of -6 off the stick.
Sunday (Port Kembla) was a much tougher assignment althoughthe wind dropped the course was much longer and challenging.Team McNamee had a blistering front 9 of 6 under par butcouldn’t add to it on the back 9 and fell one shot short of TeamTanner who birdied 2 of the last 3 holes to secure the win.

Dance ClubMonday 7.11.16 - Another warm night for ourdancers . What happen cleaners, the floor verysticky, air conditioner did not seem to be on .Dancers using their fans complaining too hot,ballroom dancers use a lot of energy dancing . Ourdancers still enjoy the night dancing and enjoy thedrinks tea and coffee supplied by the MaroubraSeals Club. Our patron Brian Purdom has beeninjured in an accident. Winter Swimming ClubThe Maroubra Seals annual President’s Trophy Night will be heldon Saturday 26th November from 6:30pm. This is always a greatnight out celebrating the Seals Intra Clubs with this yearsentertainment being the Williams Brothers “Brothers in Harmony”show. Cost is $20p.p which includes the show, entrée and buffetdinner along with house drinks.
