Welcome to the ISDP 2017 Conference
Dear Colleague, On behalf of the British Society for Dermatopathology and International Society of Dermatopathology, we are delighted to invite you to the XXXVIII Symposium of the International Society of Dermatopathology in Glasgow, Scotland, UK, from 28 - 30 September 2017. The Scientific Programme is packed with world class speakers (see link above for updated provisional programme) with updates in many areas, as well as Videomicroscopy Sessions and the ever-popular Self Assessment at no extra cost. Abstracts can be submitted now by clicking the link above; the closing date is 19 June 2017. Accepted abstracts will be published in the American Journal of Dermatopathology. The Symposium has been accredited for 27 CPD points of the Royal College of Pathologists (UK). The brand new conference venue (see the link above) is in a central location within walking distance of the hotels, dinner venue, restaurants, shops, art galleries and museums. Welcome Reception – Glasgow City Chambers
The ISDP2017 welcomes all delegates to Glasgow with an entertaining evening at the Glasgow City Chambers, please join
us for drinks and canapés by following the piper to the venue from the conference venue.
Completed in 1888 and overlooking George Square, Glasgow City Chambers is one of the city’s most prestigious buildings.
The Lord Provost will deliver a speech welcoming all delegates of ISDP2017 to the City of Glasgow.

Symposium Dinner – The Old Fruitmarket
The ISDP2017 Social Dinner will be held at The Old Fruitmarket. Hidden from view in the city’s Merchant City cultural district
and next to our very own City Halls, the Old Fruitmarket has kept all of its period charm, including its lofty vaulted roof, cast
iron columns and balcony. Prepare to be stunned by its beauty and unique atmosphere as you enjoy a traditional Scottish
