We cordially invite you to attend the International Seminar on Chemical Engineering SoehadiReksowardojo 2011, STKSR 2011, which will be held in Bandung on October 5-7, 2011. Thisseminar is in conjunction with commemoration of the 70th of the Chemical Engineering HigherEducation in Indonesia. The aim of STKSR 2011 is to create a comprehensive synergy amongvarious aspects in Chemical Engineering that hold great promise for the the advancement ofresearch and development. The changes and challenges brought about by increasingglobalization provide the motivation for the theme of STKSR 2011: “Bioenergy, Biobased Productand Process Developments”, which is significantly related to the current global issue. Keepingthis objective in mind, main topics will include, but are not limited to:

Seminar Structure

The International Seminar on Chemical Engineering Soehadi Reksowardojo 2011 willbe held in 3 days, which covers oral and poster presentations. Topics related toscientific issue on chemical engineering will be conducted on October 5-6, 2011,whereas topics related to chemical engineering education will be conducted onOctober 7, 2011.

The technical program will comprise of keynote speakers, invited and contributedpresentations on a wide range of chemical engineering, which spans fromfundamental to application. Eminent people in most related field related to seminartheme will be invited to present their thought. The contributed presentations willinclude both oral and poster sessions on traditional and emerging topics.

The program on October 5-6, 2011 will feature in a single-track plenary presentationor oral presentation, while contributed papers will feature in parallel sessions. Theprogram on October 7, 2011 will feature a single-track plenary presentation withkeynote speech from eminent people in chemical engineering education
