Pacific Grove: Ammo turned in fordestruction. Fees paid.

Pacific Grove: Report of loud and obnox-ious individuals sitting in chairs in front of aJewell Avenue residence. The subjects werereported to be “cat calling” unattendedfemales traveling back and forth from thebeach area. The subjects were speakingloudly and using profanity. There were mul-tiple reports, but no one wanted to pursuecharges. They just wanted the subjectstalked to. They were not intoxicated andwere somewhat cooperative. They said theywould quiet down and watch their language.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 25

Carmel-by-the-Sea: Investigated an unat-tended death that occurred overnight in a SanAntonio Avenue location. Fire engine andambulance dispatched. Arrived on scene at0446 hours to find a 63-year-old female on thefloor of the motel room, not conscious and notbreathing, with pronounced rigor mortis in herright arm. Coroner notified.

Carmel-by-the-Sea: Female subject, age48, was contacted on Scenic Road at 1114hours and arrested for public intoxication aftera witness called 911 to report it. She was alsoin violation of her parole.

Carmel-by-the-Sea: Ambulance and fireengine dispatched for a female who fell onCasanova Street with skin tears to both legs.Patient transported Code 2 to CHOMP.

Carmel-by-the-Sea: Fire engine dis-patched to Santa Fe between Fourth and Fifthfor a power line down. Arrived on scene to finda low hanging phone wire which was also inter-twined with a service drop. The wires weresomehow tied together with rope. PG&E re-secured the wires above the street.

Carmel-by-the-Sea: Fire engine and ambu-

lance dispatched to a Dolores Street location.Arrived on scene to find a male in his 50s expe-riencing shortness of breath, possibly due toasthma. Transported person to CHOMP.

Carmel area: Subject was stopped onnorthbound Highway 1 at Ocean Avenue forvehicle code violations and was cited for beingin possession of marijuana.

Carmel Valley: Person reported the theft ofparts from a piece of construction equipment.The equipment was also vandalized. Totalamount of theft and vandalism is $4,500.

Carmel area: Employee at a business in theCrossroads shopping mall reported feelingthreatened by her coworker.

Carmel Valley: Resident reported havingproblems with a neighbor over water usage.

Pacific Grove: A 21-year-old female wasarrested for petty theft and receiving stolenproperty after she was found in possession of it.She was unable to provide proof of purchase.The victim provided receipts for the propertyand identified the items. The woman was alsofound to be on felony probation for a prior theftconviction. She was arrested.

Pacific Grove: Subject reported his dogjumped/fell off of the seawall into the ocean atOtter Point. Upon arrival, the female JackRussell terrier was located stranded on a rock.A state parks lifeguard was on scene, and MFDalso responded. Someone waded out to the dogand brought him back to the shore uninjured.Dog and owner reunited.

Pacific Grove: Female reported her mom’sex-boyfriend is always driving by her house andoften parks in front for hours, shouting deroga-tory remarks if her mother’s new boyfriend’svehicle is there. She said he is creepy, and sheis afraid of him. She said her mom broke upwith him close to a year ago. She was advisedto call the P.D. if he returns and to seek arestraining order against him if the problemcontinues.

Pacific Grove: Female reported shereceived a threatening email from a person shesold a vehicle to. The email stated, “If you don’trespond and refund a fair amount, I guaranteethe Camaro will return, and I will introduceyou to someone you will probably not want tomeet.” She wanted the incident documentedand the sender of the email to be contacted.

Attempted to contact the sender via telephoneand left a message.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 26

Carmel-by-the-Sea: Past-tense vandalismon Sixth Avenue.

Carmel-by-the-Sea: Witness observed anintoxicated subject operating a motor vehicleon Lincoln Street. The vehicle was located andstopped. The 58-year-old male driver wasdeemed to be DUI. Vehicle was stored/towedby Carmel Towing.

Carmel-by-the-Sea: Camino Real residentreported finding a female subject’s property inhis yard. The owner of the property wasreached via telephone and agreed to retrieveher property at a later date from the policedepartment. Subject later retrieved her proper-ty from the department. Item No. 6 was dis-posed of — broken mirror hazard. All itemswere returned to their owner through herfriend.

Carmel-by-the-Sea: Bicycle found onScenic Road.

Carmel-by-the-Sea: Fire engine dis-patched to a store at Ocean and Mission for analarm system activation. Arrived on scene tofind a pull station accidentally activated.Silenced alarm and secured pull station.Building checked and found secure.

Carmel-by-the-Sea: Ambulance dis-

patched to a Pine Hills Drive residence for afemale who had fallen sometime in the nightand was complaining of chest-wall pain.Patient transported Code 2 to CHOMP.

Carmel area: At Flanders and Highway 1,the reporting party stated his ex-wife attemptedto contact his 13-year-old daughter at a youthcenter. The ex-wife has been estranged fromher children for the past eight years.

Carmel Valley: Resident reported creditcard fraud.

Pebble Beach: Resident reported thatsomeone picked up the downstairs phone whileshe was on the upstairs phone. She also heardthem leave by going out the sliding glass door.A check of the house and backyard was metwith negative results.

Carmel area: Person reported beingharassed by a bank customer.

Big Sur: Missing person was found inGorda acting bizarre. He was running downHighway 1 naked, trying to stop passingcars. He was taken to CHOMP on a 5150hold.

Pacific Grove: A male Forest Avenue resi-dent, age 51, was arrested after his wife report-ed he grabbed her and swung her around duringan argument. There were marks on her biceps.
