Rio Road for a pregnant female in her 30s whoexperienced a possible syncopal episode aftertaking a brisk walk with friends. Firefightersassisted ambulance crew with patient assess-ment, diagnostics, oxygen administration,packaging and gathering information. Thepatient was transported to CHOMP by ambu-lance.
Carmel-by-the-Sea: Fire engine and ambu-lance dispatched to a residential fire alarm acti-vation at Camino Real and 13th but were can-celed en route. Units continued to investigateand make sure there were no problems. Aplumber on scene was using a welding torch towork on a water heater, and a detector was acti-vated from the torch. The scene was secure.
Carmel area: Citizen reported possibleintoxicated male accosting an elderly female(begging aggressively for money), followingher into and out of a restaurant. Upon contact,the suspect was arrested for public intoxicationand other charges.
