Looking at the number of Cyber Crimes since last many years, We at Secugenius Security

Solutions provides training on Ethical hacking & Cyber Security to students, IT Professionals, Bank

Employees, Police officials.

Secugenius conducts workshops in all parts of the country in various Colleges/institutions for the

benefit of the students & making them aware of the latest trends in technological era of the

Computer age. We believe in spreading knowledge to all the youngsters & growing minds of the

Step 1 –

Start Backtrack Operating System and Download Pentbox fromsourceforge website.

Step 2 –

Open your Terminal and type this command

root@bt:~# mkdir pentbox;cp – rf /root/pentbox-1.5.tar Pentbox



Step 3 –

Give Full permissions to the file by typing this command

root@bt:~# chmod +x pentbox-1.5/pentbox.rb



Step 4 –

In Pentbox Tool, we have 3 options1) Cryptography Tools

2) Network Tools3) Web Tools



Step 5 –

Now Select Option 1 and we have again 4 Options

a) Base 64 Encoder and Decoderb) Multi-Digest (MD5, SHA1, SHA256, SHA384, SHA512, RIPEMD-160)

c) Hash Password Cracker (MD5, SHA1, SHA256, SHA384, SHA512,

RIPEMD-160)

d) Secure Password Generator

Select Option 1 i.e. Base 64 Encode and Decoder



Step 6 –

Now Select Option 2 i.e. Network Tools

In Network Tools, we have 6 optionsa) Net Dos Tester

b) TCP Port Scanner

c) Honeypot

d) Fuzzer

e) DNS and Host Gathering

f) MAC Address Geolocation



Select Option 5 i.e. DNS and Host Gathering



Step 7 –

Now Select Option 2 i.e. TCP Port Scanner



Step 8 –

Now Select Option 3 i.e. Web Tools

In this we have 2 options,

a) HTTP Directory Bruteforceb) HTTP Common Files Bruteforce



Select Option 1 i.e. HTTP Directory Bruteforce

If you r using SSL then Press “ Y ” Otherwise “N”
