INTRODUCTION
ANGIOGENESIS: the sprouting of new capillaries from preexisting blood vessels.
INTRODUCTION
• The angiogenesis is essential for tumor growth and progression, because the tumor growth is angiogenesis – dependent.
• One experimental avenue to understad the control of tumor angiogenesis is to identify and study molecules that have regulatory activity on endothelial cells.
• In this article they have discovered an angiogenesis inhibitor from the conditioned medium of pancreatic β tumor cells and refer to it as
• Beta 35. This protein have a gene segment of bovine transferrin.
• They reported the purification, characterization and anti- tumor activity of this protein.
INTRODUCTION
OBJETIVE
• Prove that Beta-35 is a transferrin-derived inhibitor of angiogenesis and tumor growth
1. PREPARACIÓN DEL MEDIO CONDICIONADO
2. ENSAYO DE INCORPORACIÓN CON TIMIDINA
3. ENSAYO DE MEMBRANA CORIOALANTOIDEA DE POLLO (CAM)
4. PURIFICACIÓN DE BETA-35
MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS

• This study opens a new window to cancer therapy.
• This type of study encourages us to research on the subject and move toward cure of the disease.
• The tumors have multiple causes and we need to know about these to intervene effectively.
• The reason of medicine is unstoppable search for patient welfare
