Assembly, Installation and Operating Instructions

If you are unable to understand these instructions, contact a healthcare professional, dealer or technical personnel before attempting to install this equipment - otherwise, injury or damage may occur. Check all parts for shipping damage. In case of shipping damage, DO NOT use. Contact Carrier/Dealer for further instruction. Make sure that tray is properly secured to the wheelchair at ALL times. If you are unable to understand this instructions, warnings or cautions contained within this manual, contact Sencon Customer Service at [email protected]. PRIOR to operating or servicing this SENCON Portable Tray; otherwise injury to the operator or damage to the equipment may result.

At all times, make sure
the joints are properly
locked
Do not submerge the Mounting System or wash it with water. Clean it with a dry rag.

Remove the backrest of the wheelchair in order to install the 7/8” -
3/4” Indexed clamp around the tube
With the help of the handle, open the clamp mechanism to install it on the tube of the wheelchair
Tight the handle

Insert the 18” length straight 3/4" tube into the Sencon portable tray
by aligning the holes in it with those in the tube.

Insert the screws and tight the cap nuts.

Loose the handle (clamp) just a little. Enough for the tube to enter
but also to locate the clamp at the most suitable and comfortable way.

Remember you have two options to use it.
Folding mode:
With the palm of your hand, push the auxiliary surface out and let the mechanism swing in.
Extended mode:
With the palm of your hand, push the auxiliary surface out and let the mechanism swing out.

Know the Quick Release clamp and its elements

Release the footrest clamp and install it on the wheelchair. For this
you will have to use the 4mm Allen wrench

Use the 5mm Allen wrench to vertically adjust the joint.

Prepare the other parts to connect them with the QuickRelease
Clamp looking for the final assembly look like this.

First, take the Sencon Portable Tray and the 18” length straight 3/4”
tube with holes.
Insert the tube in the direction as shown in the image until the holes are aligned.
Insert the screws and tight the cap nuts.

Use the handle to release the device where the 18” length straight
3/4” tube will attach.

Using the 5 mm wrench loose the device. Once the walls are
separated insert the tube.
Close again the wall using the Allen Wrench
Put the device on the clamp and tight the handle.

Take the 3/4”-3/4” indexed clamp and using the 5mm Allen wrench
loose the joint.
By loosening it you can adjust one part of the clamp so it receives the tube with the Sencon Portable Tray and the other part so it receives the tube coming from the Quick Release clamp.

Warranty Information
IMPORTANT: READ CAREFULLY
Subject to the terms and conditions below, SENCON warrants to the original purchaser of a Sencon
Portable Tray (the “Product”) that the Product shall be free from defects in material and
workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase (the “Warranty Period”). If a defect covered
by this limited warranty occurs during the Warranty Period, the Company will repair or replace, at
its option, the defective Product free of charge. However, costs associated with shipping the Product
in connection with obtaining warranty service shall be at the purchaser’s expense. The Company’s
repair or replacement shall be purchaser’s exclusive remedy with respect to any breach of the
limited warranty.
NOTE: The customer must notify SENCON of any defect, malfunction, or nonconformity promptly upon discovery, and must receive authorization from Sencon to return the product by emailing [email protected].
