EFV max. 0.5 mbar pressure drop SENTRY GT Maxitrol Company’s new SENTRY GT model is specifically designed for legacy installaons by providing a direct con- necon to the outlet of the emergency control valve (ECV), incorporang a high temperature resistant gasket for BS746 thread connecons. SENTRY GT TCOs automacally shut off the gas flow at tem- peratures between 92 °C and 100 °C. At the release tempera- ture, the release mechanism (temperature sensor) unblocks the closing unit, and the closing unit moves into the valve seat resulng in a gas-ght seal. They remain closed for a period of at least 30 minutes at temperatures up to 650 °C (tested up to 925 °C) and aſter it cools. SENTRY GT with internal thread in accordance with BS746 con- tains an integrated high temperature resistant gasket at the inlet. SENTRY GS EFVs and SENTRY GT TCOs are available combined as a single unit or separately as individual units. These cut-off devices help prevent gas from flowing to down- stream components that may not be resistant to high tempera- tures. When tripped the SENTRY GT allows no more than 30 l/h measured in air to pass through or escape from the device. SENTRY GT TCOs meet the requirements of: ¡ General Gas Guidance IGEM/G/5 Gas in mul-occupancy buildings and are cerfied according to: ¡ Pressure Equipment Direcve 97/23/EC ** ¡ DIN 3586 SENTRY GS Calibrated SENTRY GS EFVs for residenal installaon shut off the gas flow when a predefined closing flow rate is reached. Merk Maxitrol’s factory adjustment (100%) provides a pre- cise and reliable closing flow rate. In the nominal flow range, the EFV remains in a stable, open posion. SENTRY GS are also available in combinaon with a thermal cut-off device. The EFV is installed downstream of the emergency control valve (ECV). If equipped with a by-pass orifice, SENTRY GS EFVs reopen aſter the downstream line has been repaired and re-pressurized.     SENTRY GT Maxitrol Company’s new SENTRY GT model is specifically designed for legacy installations by providing a direct con-nection to the outlet of the emergency control valve (ECV), incorporating a high temperature resistant gasket for BS746 thread connections.
