www.oklahomanaturalgas.com SEPTEMBER 2014 Natural Gas Matters IDEAS AND INSIGHTS FROM YOUR NATURAL GAS SERVICE PROVIDER Lock In Your Natural Gas Price Energy prices can be unpredictable, but yours don’t have to be. As an Oklahoma Natural Gas customer, you can know exactly how much you will pay for each Dekatherm of natural gas you consume over a 12-month period. Simply enroll in the Voluntary Fixed-Price Plan. The price you pay for the natural gas you use each month is the Oklahoma Natural Gas average cost for the gas we’ve purchased under a variety of contracts. The cost-of-gas portion of your bill varies each month based on how much you use and what we paid for that supply. We’ve already bought a portion of our winter natural gas supply at fixed prices, so we know its cost. We’re making that natural gas available to those who wish to enroll in the Voluntary Fixed-Price Plan at $5.349 per Dekatherm for the 12-month period beginning November 1, 2014. The price only applies to the cost of the natural gas itself. Regular service and delivery charges apply, and your bill will still vary according to the amount of natural gas you use. If you enroll in the Voluntary Fixed-Price Plan, you could pay more or less than customers who do not enroll in the plan. The plan does not guarantee savings; it is intended to protect customers from the occasional swings in natural gas prices. To participate in the program, you must enroll by October 17, 2014. Enroll online at www.oklahomanaturalgas.com, call us at 1-800-208-7267 or use the enrollment form on the back of this newsletter. VOLUNTARY FIXED-PRICE PLAN TERMS: n Customers must enroll for the entire 12-month period and, once enrolled, will not be able to be removed from the program for the duration of that period. n During the plan period, enrollees will pay a fixed price of $5.349 per Dekatherm of natural gas used. n If an enrollee moves within the Oklahoma Natural Gas service area during the plan period, enrollment transfers to the new service location. n Customers may participate simultaneously in the Voluntary Fixed-Price Plan and the Average Payment Plan. n Voluntary Fixed-Price Plan enrollees may not opt out of the Temperature Adjustment Clause.* n Small commercial customers (businesses using 150 Dekatherms or less annually) must also enroll in the Automatic Bank Draft Plan in order to be eligible for the Voluntary Fixed-Price Plan. * The Temperature Adjustment Clause is a means of adjusting a portion of your bill to reflect normal weather conditions from November through April each year.
