Pastor Rob will talk briefly each week about meditation practices and lead a time of group meditation in various forms.

All of January we will be collecting Hygiene Kit Items (see list below) Sunday, January 27, 2019 - Assembling Hygiene Kits (Add your name to the sign-up sheet in GSR.)
We need your help! During the month of January Grace UCC will be
Collecting items for CWS Hygiene Kits
Supplies needed:
· Hand towels measuring approximately 15”x 28” to
16”x 32” (no fingertip, bath, dish towel or micro-fiber)
· Washcloths
· Wide-tooth combs
· Finger nail and toe nail clippers
· Bath size bars of soap in the wrappers
· Toothbrush in individual packages
· Standard size Band-aids
All items need to fit inside a one-gallon plastic zipper closure bag. Do NOT add
any extra items or toothpaste. A tube of extended expiration date toothpaste
will be added to each Hygiene Kit just prior to its journey.

The Religious Coalition’s
Emergency Family Shelter
At Grace Feb 9th - Feb 15th
is hosted by Grace Church four times a year. Our next host week is February 9 through
February 15. The sign-up email has been sent to those who volunteer. Please sign up
soon so we can fill all the slots! Thanks your help!
New volunteers to the program are always welcome! Volunteers must be over the age
of 18, and a background check is required along with training. Please contact the
church office or speak to Carol Garrison for an application. In addition to the vetted and
trained volunteers who work directly with the families, we also need people to help set
up and clean up for their visit - no experience or training necessary!
FCAA - Food Bank
On the third Sunday of every month, we dedicate the “Grace
Groceries” that have been collected in our little red wagon (in
the narthex), and then deliver them to the Frederick Foodbank.
Thank you for your continued generosity!

2019 Offering Envelopes and Electronic Giving
Offering envelopes are available in the Narthex for anyone who would like to use envelopes for regular offering. Simply pick up a box and write your name on the sign-up sheet next to the number that you’ve chosen. NOTE: Some numbers are already reserved and marked for congregation members. Two Electronic Giving Options: UCC e-giving (Vanco) allows you to set-up a regular, recurring donation via auto-
matic electronic draft from your bank account or credit card account. Contact the church office to get an authorization form and get started.
PayPal: Simply click the GIVE button at the bottom of the www.grucc.com home page or GIVE TO GRUCC button at the bottom of weekly enews.
If you decide to participate in our electronic giving programs, you can pick up some “I give electronically” cards to place in the offering plate on Sunday mornings in lieu of an envelope/paper payment.
