HOW OMSTAR WORKS Omstar DX1®, Residual® and OpenFlame® are a complex

mixture of synthetic esters (at least 50 to 90% synthetic esters in each) designed for their use in combustion engines and furnaces for different fuel types comprising from short-chain and long-chain synthetic esters combined with a petroleum distillate carrier. Omstar creates chemically bonds with any hydrocarbon fuel – gas, diesel, biofuels, natural gas, and coal. The low molecular weight esters act as a solvent, cleaning the injectors and as a boundary lubricant in the cool portion of the fuel feed system. The high molecular weight ester, acting as a synthetic overhead lubricant.

The Omstar competitors using large concentration of a detergent/dispersant in their modern lubricating oils and additives to fuels which may interfere with the chemisorbed layer reducing its effectiveness of these additives.

IMPROVE COMBUSTION ▪ Omstar boosts the fuels Oxygen level, Cetane number by 4 to 5%, increases engine compression, lowers combustion temperature, forms chemical bounds with harmful particles and converts them to energy..; the result of the more complete and cleaner combustion is the significant fuel economy improvement of 4-27%, the reduction harmful pollutants up to 70% and the smoke opacity up to 89% in reduction after one year of use.

REDUCE ENGINE WEAR - US Patent 4,920,691 for D-1280X (now DX1) issued in May 1990 states,”… high molecular weight straight-chain carboxylic acid esters survive the combustion in the cylinder and are available to react with the rings and cylinder walls …this forms a metal soap which provides lubrication in the boundary friction region and is a great improvement over conventional mineral oil-based overhead lubrication. …” This process is called “Chemisorption” and it extends engine life. Adds lubricity to ULSD (Ultra Low sulfur Diesel) reducing wear of engine components - helps engines run cooler and more efficiently. Time between overhaul for Los Angeles Airport Authority buses was extended from 300,000 miles to 400,000 miles because of DX1.

REDUCE POLLUTANTS EFFECTIVELY - Dramatically reduce exhaust emissions without creating any measurable residue or toxic emissions. Testing averages reduced … CO by 13-22%, NOX by 9-55%, SO2 by 2-79%, and HC by 50-87%. All three additives are composed only of Carbon and Hydrogen molecules that burn completely, leaving no ash (99.99% consumed with no residue). Omstar demonstrates a 29.2% average exhaust smoke opacity (smoke) reduction after two months of additive use, 66.7% average reduction after nine months, and 89% reduction after one year

CLEAN ENGINE AND FUEL SYSTEM - Remove sludge, cleans injectors, valves and fuel lines due to cleaner burning. Cleaner engines/injectors can dramatically improve combustion and reduce fuel waste.

Improves Furnace Performance - Increases energy/liter fuel; reduces harmful emissions (SO2, NOx, CO, Hydrocarbons/ particulates); cleans exhaust/emissions systems; reduces fuel viscosity for lower pump power required and better cold-weather starting; reduces asphaltenes in fuel tanks, and reduces maintenance of fuel tanks as a result.
